As I was reading my Hood River News, which I get about a week late, I learned that there is going to be an increase in Bridge toll on the Hood River/White Salmon bridge. Starting January 1, 2012, it will increase by about 33%, from $0.75 to $1.00.
Scandalous!! So earlier today when you said that MOT was going to go kayaking on the White Salmon River I was like, "what the heck?" YOU LIVE IN HOOD RIVER. What is this about WHITE SALMON RIVER?!
White Salmon River runs through White Salmon Washington (directly across the Columbia River from Hood River). The Hood River runs through Hood River. We like our rivers.
